Advice needed: How to shave head and prevent razor bumps. (cream, shaving)

Greetings Fellas. Not sure if this is the correct fourm.

I shave my head with clippers and I like the way it looks but I'd like to get a closer shave with a razor.

Problem: I get razor bumps around my neck when I shave with a razor so I avoid doing it. Can anyone recommend any way I could shave with a razor and prevent the bumps?

check out this product:
Bald Guyz

- Use a brand new razor everytime - Use a high quality one
- Smooth long soft one swipe strokes rinsed each time in the direction of hair growth
- steam out with a hot towel
- shave lotion up very well and go against the growth of hair
- rinse well without rubbing
- Take those oxy pads and swipe your neck after shaving (head or neck)
- moisturize to your skin's need and let it totally absorb ( I think a dab of coconut oil works well as it reduces inflamation and you hardly have to use any)
- then dust with gold bond medicated powder lightly

They make this stuff called Bikini Zone that also works nice on preventing shave bumps.
If you check out the afro american section of hair care etc for guy you will see a lot of "no bump" type products too.

You need a sharp razor, shaving cream, and put alcohol on your head afterwards.
