i'm not a lady, but i typically wear black, brown, or white shoes with my dress slacks and polo.
i preferablly enjoy the slip ons because they dont look as dressy imo, and they go great with jeans as well, obviously the black pair get more use than the others

Almost any kind of casual shoe would be fine! Docksiders (no socks!), or lace up shoes of the "Hushpuppie" genre.... loafers....
Pick what feels good!

Sketchers makes some great brown men's casual shoes that look great with khaki's and polos.

I just have to chime in, though I am a guy, with an extensive shoe wardrobe. You know it's bad when you have more shoes than many women, especially when it's more than one's girlfriend/wife, who don't exactly fit the bill as to owning few shoes. LOL

It all depends upon the look you want to achieve. For the classic New England look, Bass Weejuns. Cole Haan also has some good loafers for khakis and polos. For something more modern, JP Tods can fit the bill, as can Kenneth Cole. Other than loafers, you can wear casual oxfords and suede oxfords. And, sometimes, with the right cut to the shirt, one can pull off monk straps with khakis and a polo, same with kiltie loafers.
