There are some companies that are selling a product in a mascara type wand that says it can grow hair back. I was wondering if just buying the bottle of rogaine off the shelves is essentially the same thing?

Thanks for any input.

I heard on the Tyra Banks t.v. show that if you put a rogaine on a Q-tip and VERY CAREFULLY dap the bald spots where your eyebrows should be, that within time, they will grow back. You would have to do this daily.

My friend tatooed her's on, too. They looked great... not extreme... very natural.

If you have thin brows, using a pencil is not a good idea unless you want to look like they were drawn on. Use an eyebrow powder. Looks more natural.

Default Brows

Hiya,
I'm a permanent makeup consultant in England.
permanent Cosmetics is great for thinning brows, there are new treatments available, using fine hairstrokes that mimic real hair growth.
I have lot's of PMU friends all over US, most are teachers in this field of work, and truly brilliant.

Make sure you pic the right one for you if you do decide to get this procdure, It's something that you have to live with for a few years.

If I overpluck my brows, I massage them daily with a dab of castor oil (you can get it from the health food store). Seems to grow them back quickly.

I get compliments on my eyebrows and I hardly have any!

I have perfected this method over nearly 40 years of applying makeup. I use Chanel eyebrow pencil first, then comb. Apply again in sparse areas, comb again. Then use eyebrow powder in a slightly different shade (darker) Work that in w/ very small brush. Comb again.

I recently discovered a product that I like, but do not use every day. I only take the time to add it when I have a special occasion or meeting or have time to mess with it. It is Lancome, Brow Expert. It adds little fibers similar to mascara. I use that carefully on top of the other stuff - adds some volume to what eyebrow hair I have and color stays on all day.
