I thought the Assets brand ripped up much more quickly than Spanx. Would never waste money on them again, personally.

How about you? Do you check out your BEHIND for underwear lines? What about muffin tops? (This is a new word for me.)

You mean to say that you DON'T check the rear view before you leave the house?? Yikes. I'd never ever do that. I will not wear underwear that makes a visible line. And I don't wear pants that create a "muffin top". If you have that pooch above your pants, then they are too small!!! Get a bigger size. And for GOD'S sake, make sure your shirt covers your tummy if you have some excess there!!! Ick - no one wants to see a fat stomach and hips sticking out. That is just gross.

Really? What about all the dimples on my big fat butt?
I don't need to be showing anybody that stuff unless I'm married to them.

I also really like the Assets brand from Target. I never had any issue with them ripping and I wear them all the time. I like the fact that I can wear my tights with the shaper built right in. They go for around $20 each.

so, the ladies who prefer the assets brand to the spanx brand, do you have both to compare? or do you love the assets without having tried the spanx? i love my spanx and hesitate to switch to the cheaper version.

Yes! Love Spanx. They smooth out your figure, but are sooo comfortable. I actually bought mine online from www.amazon.com.

I've tried Assets and Spanx and both are good. I just like the Assets more because I really like the tights that are attached. I really don't use Spanx alone without the tights. I don't really think one is that much better than the other.

I am going to offend someone, but that is not my purpose....
Instead of the money on the spanx, put it towards the gym! Instead of the time looking for the stuff, spend it working out! My purpose is not to offend, its just better for your health!!!

Depending on what I am wearing or where I'm going is when I put on the spanx. They are more comfortable than a girdle but I still don't think I could wear them all day/every day.
I will though check out the off brand at Target. Thanks

Ok ..so you mean to tell me NO ONE in this thread wears anything that doesn't fit when you put on pms weight? All the working out in the world doesn't make that go away.Shapers do.
