oh...do not squeeze them. hah, just don't (i have a pimple due to squeezing one for five days now), i am avoiding the mirror like plague
If you squeeze 'em, you must apply alcohol right after to kill any bacteria that entered the skin. Otherwise, you wake up looking like Rudolph the Red Nose.

Get ready for a scary story kids...Grandma is drunk on wine and the devils teeth are nashing...
Once upon a time there was a lady that squeezed a blemish.
All for not though as she awoke to a vermillion insult pulsating from whence the blackheaded beast came. Alas she had not an option other than sterility and time. But time was just what the red headed horror needed to fester.
~ scared yet..oohwoeeoo ~
Upon the great festering a cyst did arise! Pressing tightly from it putrid little cove that once was just an innocent pore. The blemish burned with urgency. But this was no ordinary blemish. The deep hell heat told the victim so. She rose to call her savior...the dermatologist. Upon well placed planning and exchange of information within the following days the victim went forth for and exorcism. A extraction and draining of a pimple that went all out cystic boil. A sour turn of events for sure that will always be framed in memory by the pluck of the pock from proclivities of picking.
Bad pimples make thier own gravestones...forever..forever...forever...forever
Mwuhahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Use a facial steamer (http://locatereviews.com/1337371768 - broken link) to steam your face for a few minutes. This helps you to open up facial pores, and expose the blackheads. Pat your face dry. Then, use a blackhead remover (http://locatereviews.com/2006370960 - broken link) to remove blackheads. Place the hole of the remover over a blackhead, and gently press down. This will apply the pressure from underneath the blackhead, and pop it up. Then use an alcohol pad to clean it up to avoid infection. Avoid harsh squeezing or scraping at the blackhead. Excessive squeezing can damage the skin surround the pore and can actually increase the size of the pore, leading to more blackheads in the future.
This is what I do and it works REALLLLLLY well for me!
Take your shower like normal but DON'T Turn on the exhaust fan, or leave the bathroom door open. IE: Make it REALLLLLLY steamy in the shower while you're cleansing yourself.......
Once you step out (and you'll probably have to wipe the mirror off) apply this:
Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask! (You can get it at Walmart, Walgreens, Target, etc)
It's a REALLLLLLLY great clay mask. When the clay dries it SUCKS UP all the oil out of your face (so only put it on the oiliest part of your face, like your nose, forehead and chin)....... leave it on until it dries all the way and then wash your face gently with a warm wash cloth to get it all off.....
The clay mask will suck out all of the oil. Start by doing it 2-3 days in a row and then do it every other day.
I guarantee in a week you'll notice that your pores are smaller and that blackheads are gone! It seriously worked so well for me!
(After the first two weeks you'll probably only need to use it 1-2 times a week)
(IF you look it up on amazon.com you'll see that the reviews on it are awesome! The mask is SOOOO effective and SOOOO cheap too!)
I would recommend scheduling a facial. Ask them to concentrate on de-clogging your pores, and schedule a facial every quarter for maintenance and to make sure you're using the right products according to your skin type and weather (Yes, weather! I stared dumbfounded at my aesthetician when she said this.)
In between your quarterly facials, wash and exfoliate religiously every night for maintenance. Wash with lukewarm water. Also, a few times a week after I wash my face I check out my pores with those magnifying mirrors, I "de-clog" my pores before exfoliating. Then splash your face with cold water to close the pores.

I always thought alcohol was too strong for your face?
