It's bad.
Mineral oil and fragrance is all it is, and mineral oil isn't good for your skin.
If you want to go with an oil moisturizer, use a natural oil, like coconut, or jojoba, or EVOO.

Its not good for skin? Really? This apply for babies too?
If yes, I need to ask my sister to stop using this on my little nephew! She has been using this on him since his birth from an year now!

I was wondering about coconut oil, but I heard it doesn't moisturize that well? True or no??

Very true. I was a nurse and we stopped using it long ago.

Its lighter than olive. I have been using olive this winter. Bonus is just buy a big jug for the kitchen and put some in a bottle for the bath.

Mineral oil or liquid petroleum is a by-product in the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline and other petroleum based products from crude oil. It is a transparent, colorless oil composed mainly of alkanes (typically 15 to 40 carbons) [1] and cyclic paraffins, related to white petrolatum. It has a density of around 0.8 g/cm3. [2] Mineral oil is a substance of relatively low value, and it is produced in very large quantities. Mineral oil is available in light and heavy grades, and can often be found in drug stores.
I personally refuse to use crude oil by products on my skin, as they do not absorb, and just coat the skin instead of actually absorbing and helping. It's more of a temp fix.
I prefer natural oils that I can ingest (on accident or purpose (aka to cook with), and not be harmful.

Most oils, mineral or plant, don't absorb well enough into my skin, and I get a greasy film. I'm not generally cursed with dry skin (only occasionally, seasonally), but when I do have dry skin, the one plant oil product that I'll moisturize with is shea butter. It's the only natural extract I've found that leaves me with no annoying greasy feeling.

Its great stuff, but ya gotta be careful if you put it on in the bath or shower. The tub will be very slippery and its HECK to clean it as good as you need to, so the next person getting in doesnt slip and fall.
I use it after shower at night.

We know olive oil comes from olives. Corn oil is derived from corn. Safflower oil is of course, from the safflower. But where does baby oil come from??
