I like Ann Taylor b/c I am short and I think they have classic clothing and in petites.
I am also a big Anne Klein fan.

Everything I buy there I love and wear for years (see my profile pic...got that dress there a few years ago & it's still a summer favorite).
I also shop at H&M, Urban Outfitters, and Express a lot. And I buy vintage on ebay and at estate sales.
I also like the really cheap stores like Forever 21 though.

I'm not hung up on one brand - I'm an equal opportunity shopper!
But I did like to shop Ann Taylor for my work clothes. Unfortunately they just closed the store in Palm Desert and I won't go out of my way to find another AT store, which will be a minimum 50 miles from my home. We still have Ann Taylor Loft though, but their clothes are more weekendy and casual.

I was into Talbots, and Lauren, now I just get what I do need, when the price is Right. Lands End
was a real favorite, as Orivs also. I wait until it is what I need, and on sale! It took hard times
for me to see the light. Quality, I do believe is worth spending somewhat more for, I still have a Lands
End squall jacket looking as the day I did order it. I do think 15years ago, if fact wore it today! I also did like LL bean, but for certain item.
I do think I have more stuff then I ever will need.

Did y'all get the "Frugal never looked so fine." email today???
I dunno about you, but 78.00 for a top and a 38.00 headband is not so frugal in my book.
I try to surf their sale section instead.
