What kind of pants go great with my wool coats, I usually wear jeans everytime I go out wearing my wool coats (both of which go down below my knees)

Skinny tweed with a flared leg...or pegged all the way if you can carry it. A funky, printed riding skirt looks swell, too...ala Anthro. Just make sure it's the right length.

What cut and weight are the coats? A-line, boxy, fitted? Are they toppers or real outerwear?

If you just want to change up from jeans, I think any kind of mid-weight pant would look nice, boot-leg style. Black or dark tan, even a dark coral pant would look nice. Don't know where you shop, but Banana Republic and The Limited are great choice for pants as wel as Ann Taylor (my favorite!) they always come out with fresh new colors for pants every season.
Good luck and happy shopping!

What do your wool coats look like? You explained that they are below the knee but nothing else (i.e., style, color, patterns, etc.).

A well-cut gabardine pant would look sharp. Add some heels, and a great matching scarf.....

You're going to want something to balance the heft of the coat...I would wear a slimmer cut pant (either boot, straight or skinny).

invest in some good dark japanese denim, nom de guerre makes some real good jeans but if you want to try a pair on your going to have to hit up the city unless you want to order off an international web site.

Classic fit pants. Cords, slacks, denim all work. I would not go with too skinny pants just because a winter jacket can make you look like a potato with toothpicks in it. If you have a form fitting coat that must be unbuttoned to sit down, that is the type of fit that goes well with fitted pants.
