Thinking about adding them to my wardrobe and even wearing to work with my usual dress shirt and pants on occasion. I know they are common and accepted more in some parts of the country than others, but I like the bold and rugged look of them. Thoughts? Thanks!

I wear them.

Of course, I ride horses so they're kind of necessary
Are you thinking regular cowboy boots, laceups, the kind with small heels or the 'chunky' boots?

Thanks for your replies, all. Jetjockey..Just a regular, basic pair, probably black to wear to work.

Amanda..I remember working with a lady from Texas a long time ago and she wore hers to work on occasion. She got ribbed and a few strange looks, but I thought they looked great on her, esp with the right dress .

I have a pair and have worn my boots to work. I will ditto the comment about comfort. Flip flops or cowboy boots for me the majority of the time.
