Default Skinny jeans on guys...yes or no?

What do you people think about skinny or drainpipe jeans on guys? I have been sporting this look for years and often get strange looks (unless I'm in a bar full of indie snobs dressed the same way) Anyways.... Is it really that horrific? Thoughts??

Ick. Now granted I'm probably quite a bit older than you but...looks emo and that isn't what I personally find attractive. DS won't wear them and DD doesn't like them on guys either. Now, my friend from work, her daughter really likes the emo look on guys so I guess it's right up someone's ally.

Well...if you are skin and bones, I'd say it's a good look. Otherwise...

But I really don't like a low LOW rise on anybody, male or female...because despite popular opinion, it is not flattering. It hits at a weird spot on most women - the worst part of the hip - and on dudes...well...no. Unless you are Jim Morrison. Lenny Kravitz.

Another thing is utilizing the pockets...guys carry their stuff in the pockets, which looks...what is the word...ahhh...well...skin-tight skinny anything with large, awkward bulges...I have to be careful here...that fall on either side of the hip, look...like your pants are too tight.

Whew.

There was a guy remaking Levis 501's in England, pegging the legs...and those looked COOL. Not the teenage skater 'girl jeans' (what my cranky old punk husband calls them) but comfortable, not trying too hard jeans that had a streamlined fit but not...overworked. Looked great with boots, great with hi-tops. Very easy.

The second-skin WEcanNOTcallTHESEJoey's look swell on a rock star - unless he's over 25, but for the average you and me...maybe not so much.

There's nothing more cool than a man in (perfect fit/not tight) Levi's and a white T-shirt.

It's a look. If you like it, wear it; it certainly seems to be very trendy right now, especially with the tween set.
I don't particularly care for it but I am from the above generation who like levis and a white t-shirt. What is most important is that you like the way that you look, not other people.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see your drawers either but, I think men who wear skinny jeans look feminine....and that just isn't good.

Interpol, you're probably getting those looks because you're being mistaken for a Jonas Brother. If that's the look you're going for, then go right ahead and keep wearing those skinny jean!

I can't stand skinny jeans on men...there's a difference btwn ones that fit well and ones that if they got any tighter, they'd be inside you. If you're an emo..then I guess it's ok..but personally..and no offense to anyone out there in internet land..but emo's are complete and utter idiots...and IMHO..emo men are the worst! if you're gay, cool..my best friend is a gay man..but if not..then you just look gay..and not haa haa funny gay either

/rant off...sorry..LOL
