Since when did lacy briefs become "granny panties"?
It appears that everything that actually has a butt built in, versus a string or half-inch wide strip of material, is relegated to the category of elder-wear. As is anything high-waisted, presumably because of the somewhat abating trend of youthful pants being predominantly very low-waisted.
I'm not really into fashion- but I personally like Vintage Clothing from the 50s and early 60s. If I get some threads from the local thrift store- I prefer them to have that look. I like granny panties.
I dont know what the fashion is now. Im just an average white straight male, except I like to wear granny panties.

"Somewhat abating" being the operative word, right? Fashion shifts more often than the seasons.
Seriously, as somebody with wide hips, I'm thrilled to see the trashy-a** trailer park super-low rise trend fading into obscurity...yeah, let's have a "waist"band that cuts riiiiight across the widest part of my body. Very flattering. Um, no. High-waisted jeans aren't flattering either, but a good midrise is perfect.
Yeah, tap pants are clearly designed to be dressed up in and removed, not for utilitarian wear.
