yes I would have to say the 40s as well they thought that it was okay to have a little weight on you and not anorexic looking . Now we are not supposed to eat , or sit still or have wrinkles .I am so proud of our society LOL !!!!

I love the women's fashions of the 40s. Especially all the business attire. I must have been at a formidable age when I watched all those B & W movies.

I was only a child in the 80s- so I dont remember much of that.

The 90s seemed like they went back to the 70s.

I dont know what the fashion is now. Im just an average white straight male.

I love the suits and dresses women wore in the 40s. WAY before my time, but I like old classic movies and the way they dressed. I have some pictures of my grandma in old 40s style clothing and hair fixed with the 2 rolls on each side. The ugliest clothes (my opinion) were the styles in the 1980s---parachute pants, fluorescent shirts and all that awful big hair!! I wonder if all that hairspray worn wrecked the ozone layer!
I like some of the retro 1960s and 70s clothing that has come back in style too.

I loved the clothes Audrey Hepburn wore in the movies. The 50s were good too. I don't like what they call fashion today. The jeans so low that you can get arrested for public nudity are gross.

I am curvy and most of what they show today as fashionable won't work with my figure type. You have to be a stick and 6 ft tall to look good.

What the heck? I'm suprised! I could have sworn the favorite was gonna be the 60s or the 80s or something! The 40s are so random! No one EVER talks about the fashion then. The 50s always trump it in shows about Fashion nostalgia. Anyway, my favorite era of fashion that I could remember is the 90s. I loved the 90s and miss it. Don't miss the hair styles though. And Kelly Osbourne looks a hot mess.

Ditto.......my 15 year old granddaughter is very hip and thinks everything she's wearing is new and original. I get a kick out of telling her, "been there, done that!" LOL

Late 60's early to mid 70's.

I also appreciate the daintiness of the pretty 50's dresses and cocktail gowns. Those clothes were the epitome of sexy, IMO.

I like the women's suits of the 20s, 30s and 50s, and dresses from the 20s and 30s. Things got exaggeratedly weird in the 40s.

And they did again and the 80s. In fashion, what goes around comes around (or is that "what comes around goes around"? ). I hung onto a bunch of clothes from the 70s high school days, and my little cousin's eyes lit up 15 years later when she was in high school and I gave them to her.
