Well, I don't go to any of those places (I don't even think we have a Piggly Wiggly here), but I get the point.
Generally, I wear jeans or shorts, and a teeshirt or a tank top.
If the weather is cool, I might put on a flannel shirt or a hoodie over this.
For shoes, I might wear sneakers, flip-flops, or sandals, depending on what kind of mood I'm in.

Even if I'm just going out to get the mail I always make sure I'm dressed as if I'm going out in public, so when I go to wal-mart I'm properly dressed and covered and not wearing pajamas or sweat pants.

I'm either dressed for work or in jeans/shorts and a tshirt every day so it isn't usually an issue. I do occasionaly go to the grocery store after the gym in my workout clothes though.

What does everybody have against sweat pants? I don't have any, but if I did, I don't understand why they would be considered so inappropriate.

So you don't look trashy and classless?

Tacky people:

Pajamas. Tweety Bird T-Shirt. Ghetto stuff. Stained clothing. Stretch pants. Nascar T-shirt.
