IMO, she's making something up. I have two tattoos, and there is no way she could sleep through the procedure *on her face* unless she passed out due to drugs/alcohol. Something doesn't fit.
Why not just get the rest of her face done? Personally, I don't think it's tooo terribly bad, but I couldn't have it for work. In fact, I couldn't have even three stars on my face for work.
Sounds to me like she didn't think that one through all the way before going and getting it done. I highly doubt she fell asleep though, unless there were drugs involved.
I agree that she initially wanted more than 3 stars, but I do know that tattoos are not too painful that you can't fall asleep, I know I have for 4 of mine.
Mind you, none of my tat's are on my face, but I know that sleeping while being tattooed is common.

The tattoo dude wasn't smart enough to get the agreement in writing. If I ran a place like that I would video tape every agreement and get it verbally on tape as well as in writing. If he loses this case I wonder how many past customers might come looking for a fast buck.
She's telling tales. C'mon people, look where those tats are! Think about the last time you had a zit in any one of those areas across the forehead or the side of the nose. Remember how much it hurt when you picked at and popped it? Would you sleep through someone popping one of those? I didn't think so.
