Double Breasted Suits
I needed a new suit for a job interview because the one in my closet as shrunk . Off to the store I go and found one that fits perfectly. While looking around I noticed they have very few Double breasted suits. It's been years since I purchased a suit and thought to myself when was the lastime I saw a man in one. I must say I don't think I have seen one in quite sometime. Or they no longer in style or am I missing something.

Are you talking a man's suit or women's?
Double Breasted suits are totally ugly and out of style! They're old fashion for women, but sometime high end styles have a fling with it - Yuck!
Search thrift stores if you want one...

I use to enjoy wearing them but I have no need for one now. Heck I won't even wear a two button suit. It must have 3 buttons before I purchase one. I am talking about men suits by the way.

For us men I have begun to see double breasted suits in the stores again and thank God. Macys has a few but they have that terrible 70s vented look. The three button looks is being dubbed the cookie cutter suit and I have enough of them. For me being a tall 43, a double breasted suit looks great.

You know, they are coming back, a lot. Not that I particularly like them or hate them, I'm just saying.

They are coming back but I have a feeling they'll go right back out. I think the only way to pull one off well is for it to be a perfectly fitting, high quality suit. Otherwise you'll risk looking like Dave Letterman in the 90's. GQ has a short take on double breasted suits this month.

I used to wear double breasted suits in the 1980s. Perhaps it's a little too formal looking for today's casual dress standards. I'd consider wearing one today, but not to work and definitely not to a job interview.
