I have a couple New Era fitted hats that I only wear backwards when I'm going to the gym or feeling sporty. And I think they annoy the hipsters which is an added bonus.

Have you ever socialized with such people and how did they turn out?
I don't try to be cool by wearing a baseball cap... not my thing...
Usually backwards? Usually not true!
I wear a black no name no logo black baseball cap most of the time, and I have a masters degree in Aerospace... I am a Private Pilot and own my own aeroplane.
But, I do not think it is nice to wear the bugger backwards..., or sideways. Just my opinion, but I do not judge them by their character.
My two sons wear baseball caps (non-logo ones).
Both of them have followed me in my professional field with both of them having an MS in Engineering!
I don't and I agree with the guy on that one. Without anything further behind it, it's no different than spotting a tattoo and making it a point to be completely judgmental.
That would be me. I hate all tattoos and cannot look past them. None of my friends has them and I would never consider a woman that does. Not for a second. Just my personal taste, which I have a right to.
And I never where baseball caps. I have a few. It don’t wear them.
Not sure about cool .... but likely to be prematurely bald.
