Default Best bargain you've found?

What's the best bargain you've ever found? What was the item and what was the price, and what made it such a great bargain for you?

I'll start...I bought my wedding dress when I was 18. Little did I know back then it would be my wedding dress It was a knee-length 1940s-style sailor dress, perfectly tailored and really flattering. I bought it to wear in a play I was in, where my character got married. It cost me $25.

Years later when my wedding day was approaching and I still had no dress, I dug it out of my closet...it was perfect! I couldn't have bought something better today! It still fit when I got married at 28, and it was perfect. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was. Last year I gave it to a family friend who's in drama school and needs a wedding dress for a play, I'm hoping it will be lucky for her too

I was in Banana Republic 2 months ago buying some boxer shorts. The price is normally $19/pair, but they were ringing up at $1.90. I bought 8 pair and the manager didn't even attempt to dispute the price. Was a really awesome day for me so I went and got a discount slushy for Sonic Happy Hour.

Years ago I walked into a Ross store and was able to buy two Perry Ellis sport coats on clearance for $9.99 a piece. I have had so many compliments on those jackets over the years.

I always find a bargain with any kind of clothes and shoes at thrift stores and flea-markets. But you'd be surprised that a lot of the clothes are brand new and were never worn before. And some still have the department store tags on from where they were originally from.

The most bargains I found when I was a retail merchandiser for Macy's. We would set up sales, do mark downs-put out new merchandise. I would get so many designer clothes for less than $10.00-it was crazy.

That's by far one of MY favorite bargains! Everyone loves a good route 44 Sonic Happy Hour slush. Usually can't help but add on a side of tator tots.

I found Féminité du Bois on ebay for 13.99 including shipping. My computer is too slow, and I had to read over the entire description because I thought, at that price, maybe it's just for the empty bottle or something, LOL. So I missed it by a couple of seconds, at first, but then asked the seller to give me a BIN option, and she did! I still think that price must have been a mistake, but I'm not complaining!
