If the proper parts are covered with any sort of fabric it is fine by me.

I think it is funny that people will say "underwear" is offensive when it technically is no different that any other article of clothing. The only difference is the name we give it.

Example: If a women walks out in her bra and panties it is considered indecent by some, however a bikini covers the same area yet it is acceptable in public. Irony? Yes.

Well, I don't allow my son to do it, but I don't have to worry about it anyway. He's the sweetest little nerd ever.

My question is (a little off subject) when they're around their thighs, how the hell do they keep them up?!

While I cannot stand to see guys dressed like this, I don't agree that they should be fined for it.

I am against the fine. I hate the style, but people should be allowed to dress how they want provided they aren't naked. Besides, I simply see it as a way of targeting certain groups of people. The officers would probably have discretion in who they decide to stop and ticket and their personal bias would come into play. Besides, who decides what's fashionable or not? What's next-outlaw cornrows? How about hijabs? You could target entire ethnic and religious groups that way. See it for what it is.
