Hmmm...at 5'9", I would think even long length jeans would work with the shoes I posted - I think most, if not all, of them have at least a 1" heel. I wear long length ones too, so I'm pretty familiar with the length.

Those are so cute!

I'd say high heels (black color). More of a closed-toe type high heels.

What's wrong with wearing high heels with jeans?

I love that casual-sexy look (you can wear that kind of style anywhere). It's not hookerish. I would never wear sneakers or tennis shoes with nice jeans like this one in the picture. No way! They are too nice looking to wear those. A pair of jeans that's a little bit more baggier would be better with sneakers.

I think you have to be really careful with the shoe,shirt,makeup/hair choice too or it can make you look a little trashy too. IE: Heels + Jeans + boob Shirt = save it for night/club or you are going to look odd.

To WORK?? No. High heels with jeans, is really a "clubbish" look.

Meh leave the sneaks for the gym approaching 30 you should be able to dress better and with more sophistication. I get tons of compliments on these boots all of the time:

Red Wing Heritage Men's 6-Inch Iron Ranger Boot:Amazon:Shoes

Also Alden makes a nice looking wingtip boot:

The shoes above are expensive but investing in a good pair of shoes can last you decades with proper care.
