My face - I use Aveeno facial scrub about once or twice a week. For my body I use products from C. Booth called Skin Below the Chin - about three times a week.
I loofah daily, just wondering if I was the only nut. (I use the Bath & Body Works sponge and Philosphy's Classic Fudge Cake shower gel)
As for my face, I exfoliate dailey as well. I alternate between a buff-puff and Arbonne's Intelligence Exfoliating Masque. I'm hoping to find something similar sold at drugstores. I hate having to go through the hassle of ordering it from Arbonne's website.
Once or twice a week. And I use Clearskin Antibacterial Scrub by Avon (although I read in another thread that it's been discontinued). I have other body scrubs that I use on my face as well.
Also have a face scrubbing brush that I bought at Garden Botanika long ago. The Body Shop probably sells one.
My facial skin is super sensitive to any exfoliating beads/scrubs. Instead I use a prescription retin-a at night, and I'll use an alpha hydroxy lotion in the morning sometimes. Every now and then I put pure jojoba oil on my face and gently roll off any dead skin (TMI? haha). It's nice and moisturizing too. Then I rinse it off. I can't do anything rough on my face, and oddly, my skin handles chemicals better than harsh scrubbing.
For my body, I used to use this Peter Thomas Roth AHA scrub from Sephora, until they discontinued it (boo!!!). It was perfect for me - no added fragrance or dyes. Now they have a new one with fragrance & dye, so I just use Neutrogena's body scrub (with salycic acid, an AHA) now, since it's cheaper. I also use a loofah and an AHA lotion on days I don't shave my legs.
