Normal women don't have to worry about it.( Camera adds 10-20 right.) I think she got fired for being old (face looks rough) and too big (woman hips not teen anymore). 23 is old for fashion modeling if you are not a big name. I used to model and I have yet to find a normal woman that has a frame as small as mine.

I personally hate the second article. I think she looks terrible. There are plenty of girls out there that size that do not have that gut thing going on. If you are normal..whatever..life happens...but modeling ..your looks are your job.

I think people everywhere should stop being upset that they are not something else. And stop taking it out on everyone who is not exactly like them.

That's ridiculous!! I think she looks just fine.

But some modeling agencies are very shallow and want that "anorexic" look (like Janice Dickinson's Modeling Agency). She never wants or allows plus-size models or models that are over a size 4-5. She's really shallow anyway (just look at her!!).

You also have to take into consideration that the fashion industry is dominated by gay men. So it's not suprising that the typical high fashion model has a boyish figure.

Its not boyish to not be a big ball of T&A ...its just a different shape. If you cant accept differences..dont ask someone else to.

I don't get that the role of fashion is making PEOPLE look good in clothes, not mannequins. Every day the industry pushes the idealization of the human form to the extreme. I am an artist so I can appreciate the human form...it doesn't have to be turned into a cartoon to sell fashion.

It's not a coincidence that there are 14, 15, and 16 year old models on the runway. The younger the model the less developed they will be. I personally don't think having a boyish figure a bad thing. It is what is.

BTW I couldn't care less if someone doesn't accept my shape. So your last point is moot.
