I had no idea it was so unusual? Anyways, yes I do wear an underwire. I wear either a B or C cup, medium sized.

I never thought of it as strange or unhealthy. I just don't like my boobs to be unsupported, feels odd since I always wear a bra. Oh well, I guess I was wrong. Wouldn't be the first time

And I still don't get the stinky bra thing. I change my bra every single day, I own at least 30. Doesn't everyone change their bra daily

The idea that sleeping with a bra increases risk of breast cancer seemed absurd to me but I thought I would do a quick Google search.

Bras and Breast Cancer - Women Who Wear Bras Versus Those That Do Not

This link is writen by Ralph L Reed, Ph.D

He had come across a study by by Singer and Grismaijer which suggests that wearing a bra more than 12 hours a day leads to a much higher risk of developing breast cancer. There are some issues with this study but the results are compelling. The main theory seems to be that it restricts lymphatic flow.

I've also included a link to an article suggesting that this is not the case.
You might want to look these over if you wear a bra more than 12 hours a day.

Me, too! I always sleep in my bra. Underwire, sometimes. I have lots of bras and change and wash them daily.

Hmmmmmm, my girls are a D, but I cant imagine wearing a bra to bed! I think DH might be highly offended, since he does like to cuddle during the night.......
Anyway, the bra is recent invention, what did our foremothers do?
