Everytime I see an attractive girl, I just imagine that she shaves it all off, and it just makes me smile

i must admit about 10-12 years ago, the first time my wife shaved it *all* off it was a... different sight. but i warmed up to it in a hurry (hehe) and she never went back.

Which brings me to the next question...for the women that have shaved, is sex better? For the men that like it shaved...why?

I'm waxed, not shaved, but I wouldn't say sex is "physically" better. For me it's mental. I just feel cleaner/neater and yes, I think I look better without hair. BUT I also get self-conscious if I don't shave my armpits or legs or if my eyebrows need to be tweezed!

I can't believe I read this whole thread... anyhow, the whole "hair down there" got me thinking back to my childhood. I vividly remember my mother (who was a very strict middle eastern woman with broken english) taking a big ball of wax into the bathroom with her. Her legs were so smooth and soft, I've never felt anything like it... ever. When I got older, I realized that she was also waxing her crotch. Just recently I asked her about it and she told me that before she got married, her sister told her "not to come out of the bathroom until you wax it all off". She's been doing it ever since. This was way back in the 60s... she said that all married women did it back then and that Arab men like it like that... whatever. So to say it's a trend, I don't think so. I think that some do, some don't, some like it, some don't. It's not that big of a deal.

It seems to be part of the plastic surgery/botox fake perfection mindset, as a trend now in the US. If shaving is so sexy and has been around for years, why weren't the models in mags like Playboy, or porn stars of the past doing it? It is new as a big trend in the US, started by the now mainstreamed porn industry and certain popular media. Now if everyone shaves down to nothing they must look nice down there, if not there is plastic surgery to fix it. We're all supposed to look like plastic dolls.
