Most people do not shave - who are you people kidding? Most people I know trim a little - only a very small percentage shave it all - and I guess I concede that if they like to do it - thats their business - very odd - but their decision

Do you mind if I ask how old you are? I think that may have a lot to do w/ it. Like I said, everyone I know does it. I'm 31.
So, sitting at dinner, or whatever, you ask, "By the way, do you shave your (insert your favorite word here)?" And she says "Yes" or "No" and then you two proceed accordingly?
I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why it's perfectly acceptable (and considered "womanly" as opposed to prepubescent) to shave our legs and armpits completely, but not our bikini area.

I'm 21 & I shaved for my ex because he wanted me to...it was the 1st time that I did it, not to mention that it itched & burned like hell for a few days afterwards. I remember one time before sex, I had let it grow back & he was petrified...now I try to keep it trimmed for the most part...but it still kinda bothers me a little.
I feel like I got more self-conscious about my pubic hair after that. I'm scared of getting a full-blown wax down there just because I'm so sensitive but too much hair can be disgusting (esp. with periods--I don't wear tampons) & other crap down there.
It's just something else to maintain I guess *sigh*.

Dating has changed in the last 15 years...
Thats right...I gaze deeply and sensually into those opulent gemstones that would be her enchanting eyes, and I straight up ask her: "When was your last STD panel? What were the results?...Do you shave your snatch?..If not, then we need our waiter to bring the check immediately."
Dating has certainly changed and many of these STDs today dont go away. If there is anything she wants to know about me up front, Ill be glad to answer it. Im not a fan of wasting someone's time with whom you know you arent compatible. I believe we should get it over with, ask these questions and hurt each other's feelings so we can get to the sexing, if there is going to be any at all.

I understand wanting to be clear on the STD's but what does pubic hair have to do with STD's?
