Glad there are still some people that have not been brainwashed by marketing and media into believing what is sexy, attractive, gross or yucky on males and females even if they claim to playing the devils advocate.
I have not shaved for some 20+ years and have never had any problems getting men. Go figure.
Just for the record, another theory for women shaving is not that it is considered feminine by men, but prepubescent. Can you say perv.
I just finished reading the book Kabul Beauty School. Found it interesting that in Afghanistan both the bride and groom are required to remove all body hair for the "consummation ceremony".
And the female had better be able to produce a bloodstained handkerchief afterward.
I just find it absolutely hilarious that people get upset with posts like this. Guess we have some Sasquatch looking ladies here who got offended that some just dont like hairy legs and armpits on women.

some goths or whatnot don't shave and smell bad because of no bathing or no deodorant but in Europe it's only prostitutes who shave their underarms or so the saying goes by many...go figure..I shave and probably get talked about by those who know I do....once you do it, you get used to it and can't stand the hair anymore...well, that's me anyway...but it's the bathing that is lacking in someone who smells bad, not the shaving
When I was in South America, you wouldn't believe how many drop dead beautiful women did not shave their legs or pits. To me it's a huge turn off because I'm used to American women who shave pits, legs, and bits.

I have read in the old west only prostitutes shaved their pits to show that they didnt have lice.
It is my understanding pit shaving became popular in the US when women started wearing short or sleveless dresses. It was the marketing industry that told us pit hair was unsightly and presented their adds with clean shaven pits.
Some things never change. Many are still slaves to the fashion industry.
