Magnifying mirrors have their place, but If you look at your face in one too often, you think you look worse than you do! I had a friend with really nice skin for her age (60s) and she was complaining about her big pores (which she didn't have). Of course they looked big in a magnifying mirror!

When I see foundation on my skin, I am not wearing the correct color. I wear different shades depending on the season.

I do not need powder any more. My skin is older and powder makes me look like the crypt keeper.

Really enjoyed reading this thread and I have certainly learnt a lot. I am also 70 with olive complexion and the only thing I have to add is I have recently started using Monsia Skincare. I strongly believe that a skincare product that suits you is the first thing to find.
I am going to try all the suggestions for foundation and make up.
One question has anyone used Sheer Cover and would you require foundation or does Sheer Cover do it all?
