Which do you prefer to lounge around the house in?

I prefer a house dress. Just more freeing for me. I don't like my legs too confined when I'm at home.

Sweats and sweatshirt or heavy sweater. I get cold easily, so it's usually something heavy.

Yes, please, what is a house dress??

Jeans (or shorts) and a tee-shirt. If it's cold, I'll throw on an LLBean fleece pull-over. Sock-feet, usually Smartwools.

I've seen two types of house dresses:
  • The kind of dresses that 50s housewives wore (like in I love Lucy)--this kind has a waist, a full skirt and might button up the front
  • More of a shift with no waist, might zip up the front
