Yes I'm a guy and I like skinny jeans. I don't wear them ultra tight but they are stretchy to fit just right. Remember, they were around and popular long before I was born back in the 70's and 80's.
I do not like the look of skinny jeans on guys at all. Too girly looking imho.
PS just because something is or was popular doesn't mean it looks good.
I am a straight male and I wear them. They're comfortable and they look good on my build (5'9" 140). I listen to a lot of bands that wear skinny jeans and I think the music people like has a big impact on how they dress.
Love skinny jeans! First I said, no they are only for teens, but then my daughter finally convinced me to get some year or two ago, and they look great!!
If you are talking about tight jeans, I think they look bad on all type figures, cheap like a hooker. They are even worse tucked in to boots. Slightly baggy jeans have more class and are more flattering IMO.
Not all tighter fitting jeans look bad...IMHO, the baggier jeans (AKA Mom jeans) look terrible on pretty much everyone. The trick is finding the right fit.

I am one of those who can't wear them today. However, when they were popular in the 80s, I was very capable of wearing them, and I thought they looked silly then.
Me neither...my legs are short and muscular...I'd look like a stuffed sausage in them . Now, people with long legs look spectacular in them...
That's true. It really does depend on your body type. My legs are more athletic so they look stuffed in skinny jeans...I guess I have a similiar problem that you do.
