Hi All,

Do skinny jeans look good on all body types?
Would they look good on a '5 9" frame, 140 lbs with not many curves?
What do you think of the sweater link with it? and then flat comfy shoes or high heel boots?

Victoria's Secret - Boatneck tunic sweater

Thanks.

We are about the same body type, I'm almost 5'11 and somewhere around 136-137 last I checked. I think they look good on me so they'd probably look good on you too!

ETA: I wear them w/ both flats and boots. I think that sweater would look good w/ them.

Thank you for your advice
Can I ask what brand skinny jeans you like?

Thanks.

My favorites are the J Brand Zip Ankle Skinny Jeans in the dark vintage wash. I have two other pairs of the J Brands w/out zipper ankles too.

I have a few other pairs too, but J Brand are my favorite for skinnies.

Certainly not cheap but thanks.
(I know most decent jeans run $80 and up)

They have a bunch of J Brands at my local Marshalls right now for $99.99.

I also have a pair of Paris Blue skinny jeans I got at TJ Maxx for like $15 that I like, they are really long.

I'm sure you need even longer length jeans then I do- 34 inches in length is usually long enough for me.
Thanks for the tip $99 is certainly better than $160.
Buckle has some BKE Stretch Skinny jeans for $74.

If you are talking about tight jeans, I think they look bad on all type figures, cheap like a hooker. They are even worse tucked in to boots. Slightly baggy jeans have more class and are more flattering IMO.

The only people who don't like skinny jeans are the people who can't wear them in the first place

Yes I'm a guy and I like skinny jeans. I don't wear them ultra tight but they are stretchy to fit just right. Remember, they were around and popular long before I was born back in the 70's and 80's.

I can wear them and I think they look silly on pretty much anyone.
