I love black denim, and if I'm not wearing black then I'm wearing very dark blue. Light jeans look kind of bad on me, for whatever reason.

Yeah, I can't stand the lighter color jeans either. Me, being a curvy person (size 9), they just make me look a lot more curvier and such. I don't like that much. So I like the darker colors better (the more "slimming" colors as they say).

I rarely see black jeans in my area. But I wouldn't mind a pair if they were in style here, and didn't fade.

I had a pair of black jeans back in the mid 70's when I was in high school...they were unusual at the time and people either loved them or hated them.

I've had several over the years and recently tried to get my D23 to buy a pair, but she perfers super dark blue jeans over actual black ones. I don't know why.

I liked them too, but unfortunately we women are at the whim of the fashion industry and if no one sells them, no one wears them. I remember years ago trying to find NON-ACID WASH jeans and could not find a single pair. I was forced to buy one pair because they were the only ones I could find in my price range.
I like black jeans. Bikers also like the black denim vests because they are cooler than the leather ones.

I like black jeans, but I agree that they don't look so good when they begin fading.
Black jeans work well for me in terms of being a bit dressier than blue, but they do seem to have all but disappeared.
The ones that I *did* see had some ugly bright colored stitching on them, so I didn't buy them.

I'm not all that curvy so much as I'm short with stumpy legs...light jeans just make my legs look stumpier. :/
