I don't like makeup, either, or the way it feels, but I'm blessed with an even complexion. Moisturizer and lipstick are enough for most days; if I'm feeling pale or sick, I'll dash on a little blush for some color.
Wearing makeup every day inevitably causes my skin to break out, no matter how scrupulously I wash it. It's possible that very expensive cosmetics would be OK, but I don't want to spend that kind of money on it. My skin is sensitive, especially now, when the winters are so dry. Rather than battle acne and wear more makeup to cover it up, I decided, "screw it" and wear little to no makeup anymore. At home and on weekends, nothing except moisturizer and lip balm. When I go into the office, I wear a little concealer around my eyes, mascara, eyeliner, and some tinted lip balm. I admire women with beautifully made up faces, but I like having clear skin more.
