Roles have so changed over the last 50 years...

Back so many years ago, it was almost certain that every one was married by age 24 or 25...now days...just doesn't seem to work that way, and if they are, than they're divorced by 30...

That being said, what's a single person suppose to do with themselves for the rest of their life?

Should they, we, be obscessed with finding a opposite sex mate up until we die?
And what if that's just not possible?

Should a single male still walk around like a hairy caveman, to fulfill some kind of role or expectation? and who does that role benifit?

Things are a lot more complex now...not everyone has large close extended families anymore where roles are clearly defined.

And I think it's in everyone to want to see themselves in a creative light now and then...regardless of gender...

To each their own I guess...

I just don't think having male/female feet means you have to have feet that resemble horse hooves...

And again I don't think it has anything to do with being 'gay'...and everything to do with being creative, or just bored...

I was watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on TV with my wife for like the umpteenth time and I never noticed until now that the character "Spike" has his nails painted. I guess it never bothered me since I wasnt actually looking for it. Which goes to show that you can do something like that and nobody will really ever know. or care.

i find girls under size 6 who wear 10" mini skirts and sheer tops to be incredibly sexy but something tells me i'd be called shallow. Women dont have to fall into our picture of the perfect woman so why do we have to fall into theirs?

I'd have to use a body shop grinder and a house paint sprayer with masking tape to paint my toe nails but a metallic candy-apple red would really set off my snow white hair.

Ya know, the more talk we have about painting our nails the more tempted and willing I am to do it. Of course this would be after I find a job because im quite sure i wouldnt get hired having yellow or purple nail polish on but afterwards im all for it. Heck these past few scorching summers ive been tempted to wear mini skirts so nail polish wouldnt be so bad (in comparison).

Default Cube...

Funny thing is, is it's usually males who design female clothing and fashions to begin with...

Males have always had a creative flair for fashion and beauty...just most never apply that flair to themselves...in ancient times, yes, in modern times, no...

And just as women are allowed the full range of emotions and style...i think males should be allowed that to...

I mean most times that I go shopping at Walmart, I see mostly women buying up all the stuff in the mans section...

Younger women seem to enjoy dressing like men...at least younger metro or urban woman...while totally ignoring all the variety of clothing in their own section...

I guess everyone just has to find their own purpose and balance...
For me, it's just art, and a tad bit of rebellion...for all the years I was tricked into thinking only women could look or be beautiful...what a lie that was...

It all starts in the heart, if you don't have it in the heart, nothing else matters...

I probably replied to this thread earlier on (hey cut me some slack, it's a long thread and I'm lazy! ) but here it goes:

Why would any guys even want to/bother painting their toe-nails? I don't even know why women bother to. I guess something only other women appreciate. Doesn't make me more attracted to a lady, most of the time I don't even notice her feet.

I've never heard of such a thing unless they are drag queens, not even gay but actual performers or transgendered, etc. I do know some guys paint their nails(usually black) though.

I would paint my toe nails if it would hide or cure the toe nail fungus.

Me either. Some people confuse gay and transsexual people. I've never met a gay man who shaved his legs, wore makeup or painted his toe-nails. Those I've seen were just cross-dressers who happened to be gay, or were possibly trans.

The men I've met who have shaved their legs tended to be very metro, athletes or body builders. The men I've met who have painted their nails were musicians/punks. The men I've met with long hair were mostly musos. They were all straight as far as I know. The men wearing speedos were straight, many old and fat, as far as I know.

Why is sexuality always brought into it?
