Shucks
You could shop their online store but you wouldn't be able to try anything on first
I can't order anything online, my sizing is so funky. I'm either a 0 or 2 in jeans but then like a 6 in a dresses. I never know how anything is going to fit until I try it on. I'm busty on top, narrow at the waist, and I have big hips but I'm short with long legs. I have a funny body.
I used to shop at White House/Black Market....they have cute, affordable clothes for 30-40 crowd. Stopped though because their 0 is too big and they don't always have 00....vanity sizing is a *****
The tops fit fine, I like many of them, it's the pants I have the problem with, even petites. I have slim hips and thighs, and most of their pants seem designed for women with a bit more "shape" in that area--it's too much of a relaxed fit on me, even the slim styles. I'm only 5'2", and I do usually wear petite pant sizes, the "just below the waist" types as I have some weight around my stomach. But I did once get some of J.Jill's pull-on black straight legs stretchy pants in the regular size, not petite---and they shrank so much that they are too short. *sigh* I have been meaning to try J.Jill again though, in the hopes that the newer styles might be less "billowy". They did close their store closest to me, I hope they don't eventually close all their stores.
That's too bad... they started out as a catalog/mail order company (I think) so maybe they are going back to that now that so many more people are getting comfortable shopping online. I know they do have different fits, similar to Lands End... some slimmer, some curvier... you know, I don't like their leggings, actually. I like Express or Esprit for leggings and tights! Esprit can be a fun place to shop sometimes.
I have to admit that, even though it's targeted for a much younger audience, I find myself often wandering into Abercrombie and Fitch to buy some stuff.
Zara is great for 20's-40's as they have very trendy pieces and well made staples. They have a cheaper more casual line, Zara Basic. They also have a higher quality line, Zara Woman.

Thanks. Tried to pull this up. Is this in the U.S.? Anyone know?
Thank You!! Tried before, and got what looked to be a Europe based store. Will try again.
ZARA - click on America, then United States and it will bring up the states Zaras are located in.
