Do you use different types of aftershave/cologne for different occasions? For work, I use old classic standard alcohol base aftershave like Skin Bracer. Basicly, something that is generic, smells OK, and says "I'm here to work, not to pick up chicks". When going out with the wife, I put on a scent free aftershave balm (Nivea) and a good smelling cologne.
Honest to God, there is a guy at my work who wears "Hai Karate", and it always amazes me how GOOD he smells. I keep intending to buy my husband a bottle, although I'm not sure he wears it.

I have different fragrances, so it depends on what my mood is for that day. Now, on a date or some other gathering, I tend to take the high road with the Calvin Klein items that I have. At work, most days, I just put on either some Brut or Aqua Velva.
By the way, my shelf currently has some Intense Euphoria. Good stuff.
