- Gah, you people are crazeeeee!

And I told a friend of mine he was freakin' nutz to go skydiving (for the first time ever) on his 75th birthday. He sent me pictures taken of himself in free fall. He had this huge ear-to-ear grin on his face. I'd sooner do the same thing myself than suspend myself like a slab of meat. (And my one true phobia is falling to my death from a great height.) <shudder>

Haha, yeah, I'm scared of heights so I couldn't do a suspension. But I could definitely play tug of war...

Nah, I'm with Tightwad. The folks who put those hooks or safety pins in their bodies just freak me out. But then again, the people wearing those things in their ears that stretch out their lobes also do a number on me. No offense - seriously - to each their own. But I'm a gal who gets weak at the sight of blood. The thought of inflicting physical pain on myself is just so foreign. If it means anything to those of you that have either of these things - I literally feel your pain when I look at people with these type of body art. I know you do it for other reasons than to freak the likes of me out - but man, I so go weak at the knees when I see it.

Safety pins are gross, the hooks are sterile at least.

Sterile or not, it's still gross to me......makes me shudder to even contemplate something like that. I'm not into any kind of pain or even pushing an envelope (like skydiving). Yah, I'm a wuss, no doubt about it.

Professional piercers (and that includes suspension teams, because they usually have one or more piercers) take their work very seriously. Why would they want to put something unclean into someone?

Let's keep the thread going, shall we? Who else wants tats to go completely away? Let's hear from you now.

I think that's a good idea. Both for tats to go away and for the thread to keep going. Would be nice to see it get to 1000 posts.
