Nope, at least not me. I had to work to pay my way through High School. As to the other kids.....well, it was the 50's & early 60's so ducktails for the guys and flips for the girls plus who was dating who were pretty much it for us.

No kid I knew would dream of getting of getting a tattoo and facing his dad!

I bet your Parents' Generation thought their skirts were too high and those hairstyles were horrible! And weren't there "Greasers" back then who were considered cool, but bad as well?

The "Greasers" were thought of as "rebels" not "bad".

I doubt that with tattoo's being a requirement among criminals and gang members that simple rebellious kids are close to the same thing at all.

Hmm... I know a few 'Greasers' from the 40s and 50s (I used to model at car shows) and they were most definitely thought of as 'dangerous' and 'bad'. And yes, some of them even had tattoos!!!

The gals wore their tight pencil skirts and pointy bras and had the AUDACITY to wear red lipstick and eyeshadow!!

I've sat and heard plenty of stories from the old car buffs. Maybe Southern California was different (as always ), but they got in knife fights and ran eachothers cars off the road and smoked unfiltered cigarettes much to their parents disappointment. Hell, my own grandfather was one of them!

It is all 100% true.

I do take showers during the week. Usually only after going to the gym or otherwise getting all sweaty.

Deodorant are soap are big no-no's though. I'll put ink in my skin, but I try to avoid putting chemicals on it.

Based on that, I'll put the cleanliness of my skin up against anyone else's.

I am REALLY hoping this is a typo........you know there are soaps made from totally organic substances, with no chemicals, right?

Tattoo inks haven't been approved by the FDA. Soaps don't need to be.

I stick with my organic homemade goat milk and lavender soap.

Should have been 'deodorants and soap'
