Well, sailordave, maybe you never watched Sex and the City? It would be "a look" that is not accidental to wear a colored bra under a white shirt.

It does depend on the body type as well. I have seen some tank tops with no bras that sadly qualify as a fashion HOLY HELL I always remind myself that by comparision I look so smoking hot though soo.....

I don't like the colored bra under a white shirt either, I always think they goofed. I really didn't realize it was a fashion statement for that or having your bra straps show either. I must be getting old.

I have always felt that look is just TACKY!! Its calling attention to the boobs in a very obvious way......

I have a belly and don't own one single tank top. I do wear white t-shirts,...I wear them under my work shirt because it's comfortable and looks better than the open V showing some hairy skin. Between my teen years and 27 years old I was in great shape and even then I didn't wear a tank top. I might have worn a shirt with sleeves cut off while working in the yard or washing car. I'm 41 now and not in shape. I wear a full shirt.
