and thats what a lot of us guys are meaning when we talk about clothing double standards. For you girls, mens clothes are "neutral" whereas for guys, girls clothes are "gay, sissy, crossdressing, mental issues, etc"

While a suit seems more 'guy' to me. Are guy clothes anything that isn't a dress or skirt? Anything not form fitting? Or just anything that's actually comfortable and not a pain to wear?
I guess the lines are a bit blurred at times. I can see your point as to why these are neutral clothes, but the fact that they fit big on me makes me think that they aren't exactly 'feminine'.

Some people might consider jeans to be 'male' clothing despite us girls wearing them a lot. Would that make me a wearer of 'man' clothes? I wear button-down shirts that many men like to wear, but I usually tie the shirt tails up in the front, midriff-style, for a more feminine look. But is this item of clothing still considered a 'man' piece of clothing?

I do not haveany issue with gender-bound clothing. Funny how within the last decade this has become a issue and many have such issues. Women should wear women clothing as men should wear men clothing. I can't find any reason outside of entertainment (plays,Halloween,etc...) where a Man should don Hi-heels. I am sure some will have some type of issue with it but, what can you do.

That's very true. Girls can wear 'guy' clothing without a second look much of the time, but guys can't wear 'girl' clothes without getting mocked. Still, think about why that double standard exists. It isn't really about guys...it's because 'girls' are lesser, sissy, weak, etc. So a girl wearing 'guy' clothing is acceptable because if she's crossing gender lines, she's crossing upward toward the 'better' gender. If a guy cross gender lines, he's wearing the uniform of the 'weaker' gender....he's debasing himself.

I think jeans, t-shirts, whatever are fine but get them in flattering cuts for women. I don't just mean farmer women, but women who go shopping like this, to work, whatever. Ugh.

Do these ladies 'not care' to look 'nice' or don't want to appeal to men or what?

I'm confused. Except for the 'dude' beards, you can hardly tell some women from some men! Are all rural areas like this?

Does this bug anyone else?
PS Most women who dressed like this where I am from are not interested in men.

I'm not trying to be 'trollish' just venting.
Not everyone dresses to impress the rest of the world. Sometimes (or "many times" if you want) women's clothing are not as comfortable as men's. As simple as that

I wear a lot of maternity stuff . My boobs are big and I'm tall so with a little alteration I can make a maternity shirt fit great!

I guess I would fall into this category. The reason I "dress down" is two-fold; first of all, I like being comfortable. I find that lots of clothing made for women is quite uncomfortable, especially for someone who is overweight, as I am.

Secondly, I have much better things to do with my time than sit and stare in a mirror for 30 - 60 minutes every day while I fiddle around with my hair, makeup, etc. I jump out of the shower, brush my teeth and throw my hair in a ponytail and I am out of there in about 15 minutes tops. I look at women who PAINFULLY put makeup on and fix their hair and I wonder how much of their life is wasted looking in a stupid mirror.

to each his own, I guess.

Men who ball room dance often wear heels, or to put it more manly shoes with lifts.

For example...

And I guess some short men do lifts.
