I have a client that may be moving to the Fayetteville/Bentonville area. they are doing some initial research into the area, and are wondering what neighborhoods would offer a community pool with a summer league swim team. They can purchase in the 300 to 400k price range, and even a little higher if needed. Do any come to mind? Please let me know.

thanks, shelly

Your clients price range will buy them a home in just about any neighborhood in Fayetteville or Bentonville or anywhere in between. I can only think of a few neighborhoods (Pinnacle and Clear Creek) that all the homes may be above that range.

Several neighborhoods in NWA have POA swimming pools but I am not aware of any that have organized swim teams. If swimming is the top priority, I would suggest looking at Harber Meadows - www.harbermeadows.org - on the west side of I-540 between Springdale and Tonitown as they have a large community swimming pool complex. Springdale is also home to the Jones Center with a large indoor pool complex which may help in finding out information on any swim teams in the NWA area. This location is also convenient to the entertainment draw of Fayetteville and an easy commute north - thinking your client is more than likely working in Bentonville or Rogers (just a guess!).

You may also check for your clients with Fayetteville Athletic Club or the Swim Ranch (Fayetteville) about local swimming teams.

If one of them works at Wal-Mart, they can become members at the Walton Life Fitness Center for only $15/month. They have three pools indoors and a swim team. There are also all the regular gym things as well, like tennis, weight rooms, child care, etc.

Did you end up finding an organized swim team for your clients? We are relocating to NWA and looking for the same thing. Please let me know what you found. Thanks. BETH

I'm sorry beth, they didn't accept the position, so they didn't pursue further.
