Default moving to nw arkansas

how much const is there in Fayetville area and is it controlled by mexicans. I am adrywaller in denver and cant remember the last time I worked with someone that could understand the words coming out of my mouth I am thinking of moving to nw arkansas and was hoping it would be better. both in the amount of const. and the percentage of Americans that are doing it. I have been doing drywall for 28 years and am to old to learn something else but I do like being able to talk to the peaple I work with also.

There is some new construction still going on in NWA albeit nothing like the hayday several years back. Call some of the local big drywall companies to see if they are hiring (Ayer's, Brown's, Gayers). If they are not hiring or will not be hiring in the near future, I'd hold off on a move.

To move here and try to break into the biz as a sole drywaller could be risky. As you probably are aware, builders tend to stick with their subs for years.

I would check around to see what need there is. Right now, like so many places, building isn't the number one industry, though it has picked up a tiny bit in the past few months. As for Hispanics, of course there are some and yes, they will be doing labor type of jobs. If you are talking illegals, I am not sure if anyone can answer that for you.
