Btw not trying to shove you one way or another, but you might change your opinion of Southern Baptists if you had Sunday supper on the grounds with them once, cause there's one thing about Southern Baptists that's very true, they CAN cook!
I was raised Georgia Southern Baptist. My grandmother was an excellent cook. I was raised on Collard Greens, pinto beans and cornbread. Trust me I don't have a problem with the food. Friends of mine are Southern Baptist, Methodist and we eat together all of the time. I don't have a problem with the people, there are just other things I would rather be doing on Sunday morning.

Speaking of food. When I lived in Atlanta I had Jewish Friends and Muslim friends. Actually we were all friends. Talk about some good food. One of my friends was a Muslim Ethiopian and he would make Samboosa, which is a fried small triangle of dough stuffed with ground beef and spices. Really, really good. They also eat Collard Greens, but the spices are different. I may be overly biased in favor of the Jewish people and Muslim people that I met there. You would have to be an idiot not to realize there are Muslim extremist, but all of the ones that I have met have been really good people. There is still some deep seated prejudice, but most of the prejudice is against countries that are on the border...as a whole the middle east and norther africa are still pretty tribal; however the british still can't stand the Germans and nobody likes the French.

The Ethiopians did have a different culture, and they observed all of the Muslim holidays. It is different and there culture is different, I can understand your apprehension, but I do believe anyone should be able to establish any church in the U.S. they would like...unless that Church is just a front for violance.

Now if the question was whether we should have stricter controls on immigration for Islamic people then I would be in agreement on that. There is nothing in the Constitution that states we cannot decide who enters the Country and we can discriminate based on any factor that we want including religion because they are not citizens and they have no rights; however, once they are here they have the right to observe what ever religion they desire. Our immigration policies do need tightening up, but that is a U.S. decision and not an Arkansas Decision.

Obviously you have never been there, and you've heard wrong.

What is like Iran or Pakistan?

Iran needs a revolution. It could be a great country. A good economy could weed out some these nutbags in Iran. They'd have something better to do than be crazy and angry.

92.1% of the UK population is white, the largest minority group is Indians, not Pakistanis. Pakistanis were 1.3 % of the UK population in the 2001 census.

1.3% Pakistanis is hardly wall-to-wall Pakistanis.

The next time you talk to people "from there," talk to the ones that have their eyes open.

depending, in this case I was making a greens quiche so I used garlic, freah lemon juice, eggs and cheese plus a little 1/2 and 1/2, onions, salt and pepper. Normally I have to admit, I am a bad person cause we like bacon or bacon fat on them as well as vinegar or lemon juice.

That sounds really good. Do you have any leftovers. I am there and I am really getting hungry.
