1. Depends what kind of pre-school you want (religious, academic, special needs etc). The Links aartment near the highway is supposed to be very nice, and there is a well regarded playschool right opposite it.

2. We don't use a pediatrician, I feel that unless your child has special needs, a Family Doctor who knows your whole family is better. I can highly recommend Dr Hugh Donnell at Mercy Rogers.

I think many people feel like you do about their family health giver. Depending on the insurance one has, a GP (as they used to called) works pretty well. We went back and forth when our kids were young as did my daughter. After the kids started school she switched to a primary care doctor which remained the family doctor til her girls left for college and even when they would return duing summers and holidays they would visit her.

I live nearby in Fayetteville so I don't know specific preschool names, but know there are plenty to choose from and have heard very positive things about childcare centers in Rogers/Bentonville as a whole.

I agree with the the above posters that I prefer to go to a GP who can treat the whole family and where my children can see the same Dr. each time. However, when my insurance changed to PPO my daughter switched to Mercy Pediatrics. She DOES get to see the same Dr. each time. He saw her at the hospital after her birth and each time since. Honestly, it has been a positive experience as far as pediatricians go. His name is Carl Engmann.

Only one i can see looks pretty seedy. But i'm just using google maps, you should try it.

Arkansas isn't setup very well for walking, things are spread out here with low population density. If you don't have a car, life will be rather cruel, especially now with 100 degree days.

glad you mentioned that cause I was thinking the same thing. I don't know where the OP will be working or her situation, but to depend on finding an apartment near a certain pre-school or anything is not going to be terribly easy. I think she is just going to have to find the apartment that is best for her and go from there.
