Its funny how things start to fall into place once you make an intention.... We are hoping this is a good sign! I would love to work at the University!

I was from Texas too. Been to Kerrville. And lived in many areas of Texas too. Last was by Fort Worth.
Harrison is really nice and no, it isn't flat. I think you will love it here. We do. Lot of Tx. people here.
Secrets out, it's a nice place to live, but don't tell anyone..:0)
Personally, I would never want to go back to TX. even though I was born there.
My grandparents and dad were from this area and Springfield. Wished i had moved here when I was much younger.
Good luck on your move and job!
Need any questions answered, please feel free to ask!

our granddaughter is the one who told us about Bella Vista. She was from Dallas area ( Marcus highschool in Flower mound) and had a scholarship to U of A. We listened to her, moved here and have never regretted it. She was born and raised in Texas, part of her is still Texas but she will be AR her whole life, I am sure. Of course it helps her husband, who was born in Texas, was raised here and he has his masters from U or A. They have season tickets to the games and their world is the Hogs.

I've actually recruited at that high school back when I worked for the UofA... small world . I've discovered through friends over the past several years that no one ever really leaves Texas, they just move to other states sometimes. Luckily, NWA and Texans seems to get along very well in that they love to move there and NWA likes having them there.

it is a snall world, I think people here loves Texans as long as we don't play UT in football. Look at all the Cowboy fans around here and we have closer pro teams. I will add, I am not a Cowboy fan, nor is hubby, so the rest of the family give us a really rough time It is better we don't spend football Sun together.

Part of me will always be Texas, but I keep wishing they would or could straighten out the mess they have down there.
To me, it isn't Texas much anymore. That makes me feel kinda sad...
Bella Vista is a pretty place. Eureka Springs is also a nice place to visit too.
Only thing I don't much care for is the ton of people all in the same area.
I do enjoy the country living.
