Northwest Arkansas Is Horrible. (Fort Smith, Rogers: restaurants, bus, to move)

Naw....it's just kinda like honest politicians, still around, it just takes a search.

You know I have lived in Northwest Arkansas my whole life.. And yes alot of what you said is true but your going to find traffic anywhere you go.. The people are all about the money but who isn't these days.. So i would have to say i STRONGLY DISAGREE.. And you know if negativity is all that you can have for Northwest Arkansas then Im happy you aren't moving here.. There is more to Northwest Arkansas then the traffic and the so called "rude" people.. It is actually a very beautiful place when you get out of the city.. There is so much family activity going on exspecially in the summer. Theres Devils Den and Beaver Lake for those of you who Fish.. All im sayin is NWA is growing right along with any other area you can move into.. there are pros and cons to everywhere.. you just mentioned the negative.. so i mentioned the positive.. All in all it is a good place to live.

you know everytime I hear about the traffic, I want to shake my head. We were caguht in the rush area traffic a few weeks ago, which I guess starts about the MO boarder and goes south. It was about like Albuquerque traffic all the time and 1/10 what it is in Texas, Ca or DC. I don't find it bad at all, of course for those who are not used to it, I guess it would be a negative. Even here, in our little town, so of Albuquerque we have noticed the change in the past 7 years. People move away from the city to excape crime, crowds and higher cost of living, they move 20 or so miles and the traffic moves with them. We are not at all concerned about the traffic or anything else in Bella Vista area. By this time next week we will be about 6 hours away from it becoming our home...

I motion for the closing of this thread due to the fact that the point has been made for about 13 pages now...plus it's the 9 billionth thread on Northwest Arkansas, and they're getting to where they're almost ALL the same post....

What, because it isn't Manhattan? I hate to tell you, but it's a heck of a lot more upscale and large than a what a lot of us young single folk have seen.

My problem with the area even when I just visited wasn't being entertained or bored, it was that everything was too fast, too much, too many people. It nearly drove me crazy. I just don't see how people can stand that much traffic on a daily basis.

And I don't want to hear from anyone about how the traffic in NWA is "not that bad." I couldn't even go eat anywhere without having 50 people ahead of me in line.

I wanted to teach up there, but after a trip, once was enough. I went with my family a couple years ago, but it's a whole different story when you're the one driving.

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm in a Southern state yet I walked around feeling like I was the only person in town with a Southern accent.

50 people ahead, hmmm maybe my wife and i should open a resturant in NWA ! OH if you want slow and nice people the smaller towns are all around AR, like where we live in the No Central AR area, we love it here. Best Wishes.

I agree, this one's been ridiculous for some time and everytime we get someone new coming onboard they weigh in and spark this thread up anew.

At least it will be new so new users won't have to read 20 or 30 pages of posts to find out most of the arguments have already been rebutted.
