We want to do some tent camping this year, and would love to find a nice place along the Buffalo River. We do need facilities so maybe a camp ground or state park, but still want the feeling of being out in the woods. LOL

Any suggestions are great appreciated.

Camping along the Buffalo River area is maintained by the National Park Service. Have you checked out this site?
Camping - Buffalo National River (U.S. National Park Service)

Be sure to make your reservations as far in advance as possible. it's a popular site. Even on a very cold day this past January, the campgrounds we saw were surprisingly crowded.
Buffalo Point is one of the most developed campgrounds.

Steel Creek won't feel like you are "out in the woods" much, but has the best scenery. It can be a busy place and is a giant field.

Tyler Bend seems to be a decent combination of both things you are looking for. There's a campsite called "Ozark" that is near enough to Steel Creek put-in so you can float from there and wind up near your campground.

Kyles Landing is another good option. It's where most of the Steel Creek originating day floats take-out. It's a smaller, less busy version of Steel Creek. Have fun! My first Buffalo River float is already booked for May, although I might get out there sooner if this warm weather holds.
