One thing we have learned is there are pretty major swings in pricing between Sams, WM Super Center and WM Neighborhood Market.

Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries are a lot less expensive at Sams.

A 4 pack of LED light bulbs is way cheaper at the neighborhood market. I am talking $5.54 to $12.xx at Sams.

Oh and Sam's beef is Expensive actually everywhere in NWA beef is spendy.
Yes, you are right about the expense of beef here, but we think Sam's is as good as it gets, both flavor and price. Groceries overall are higher here than Ca I think and higher than NM was as well.

I think groceries are a bit higher than CA but eating out at restaurants isn't. Go figure.

Are the Walmart stores in NWA any better than those in the rest of the country? Where I am, Walmart stores are shabby and the workers tend to be surly.

Before I moved here, everyone told me the Walmarts were really nice. I've found them to be about the same. Some are very nice, but not all. Some of the stores do tend to have a few employees who care more than in other places I have lived, however, in my opinion, they are pretty similar to all of the other places I've lived in general.

I think the Walmarts in general in Northwest Arkansas are pretty nice. I've visited some in other parts of the country that were dirty and disorganized. I appreciate how clean the stores are here.

We have found them friendlier and cleaner than NM for sure, but equal to the nicer ones in the Dallas area. They certainly are an improvement to some in small towns we have visited.

I totally agree, they are much better than a lot of small town Walmarts, but very similar to Walmarts I've seen in bigger markets.
