I live in Southern California, and obviously I love it. That said, I was in your beautiful part of the world a week ago on business and I must say, what a delightful place it is.

The people are so warm. It had much more to offer than I thought it ever would...and my gosh...such beautiful women. It's a totally underrated gem in this country.

I look forward to my next trip back. I spent time in Fayetteville, Rogers, and Bentonville. Absolutely spectacular. Maybe I'll have to find myself a nice Arkansan woman and relocate.

Have a wonderful day.

I've never been to the area myself but thru work I frequently talk to people in NW AR.

I have to honestly say they are some of the nicest and best people in the country to talk to.

I Never would have thought twice about this region but I was so intrigued and curious I lurk in this forum trying to learn as much as I can. If I ever am in a position to relocate I would strongly consider bring my family here. At some point in the near future I have to find an excuse to arrange a vacation

Oh I strongly suggest it. I am originally from Toronto and now live in Los Angeles, so it's a little small for me to move to, but my goodness it's a wonderful place. The economy appears to be booming there as well but still has a very affordable cost of living.

I cannot say enough positives about it.

It really is a great area if you can handle the wild weather be prepared for summer and winter in the same week, we can have 80's one day and below freezing the next. The people are some of the best you will find. I've lived in SW MO/NW AR most of my live, although I was born in CA. Though there's crime and drugs like any other place (especially meth) you can still feel safe in most areas walking down the road, letting your kids play outside without standing over them and petty crime like smash and grabs are few and far between in most areas.

If you like outdoor activities it's a great place to live, unfortunately there's not a lot to do in most areas if you aren't into outdoorsy things. Most people find the country charm wears off pretty quickly if they don't absolutely love it, especially once they experience a couple years of tornadoes and freakish weather LOL

This, more than anything, reinforced our decision to move to Fayetteville.
After living here almost 2 years, we're still daily impressed by the warmth and friendliness.

I get more waves walking my dog around my neighborhood in an average day here in Bella Vista than I got the whole 17 years I lived in Colorado. That's not an exageration.

Same here. We had a great neighborhood in NM but this entire area is so friendly, not just our neighborhood. I can hardly think of anyplace we shop or any restaurant we visit where people are not friendly and seemingly caring. I have had a couple of bad experiences but not many. I only know of one business in BV where the owners or workers forgot their smiles. If not smiling means they are having a bad day, they must have one everyday.

When visiting Arkansas, just don't wear any Texas Longhorn football gear.
