I thought that was taken off the market because it was unsafe, caused heart problems.

Fastin can be prescribed by any doctor. Some people it will work for a few weeks but most docs want you to go off it before then....weight gain. So it seems this med only works for a time.

I have used phentermine in the past. It did not work for me. Neither did Tenuate, Merida, Xenical, or even Acomplia which has been prescribed in Europe but not approved yet for the FDA. I have even tried Ritalin, but that does not work either.

If you don't mind driving to Rogersville, you might call Dr. Wells. I don't know for certain that she prescribes it, but she might and it is worth a call anyway.
