Default help me find this artist

My father has had this artwork since I was a child (late 70s, early 80s).

I have it now, and I just reframed it...I have loved it my whole life (used to just sit and make up stories about all the people in the picture) and would like to get more information on the artist.

Thank you.

The last name looks like "Olsen" couldn't really make out the first initial and the other name.

AskART - Art Prices, Painting Value, Art Appraisal, Art Values, Auction Prices

Check on the artist databases...the link to one is above

Also, many auction houses have a free appraisal day so if you aren't having any luck maybe try that option.

Yeah...I got the Olsen part...but the rest is stumping me. Plus, the damn Olsen twins are so all over the media that you can't read about anyone else!

man, it's going to be hard finding information on just a last name. I would find out the history of the painting and then go from there. Ask your father where he bought it and from who, was it at a gallery or was it bought directly from the artist etc.......

No luck with Google Goggles, it's supposed to be good at recognizing art.

Why is it so blurry? Is that how it is on the original? Upload a picture of the whole painting and I'll try it again.
