So hard - - 1 painting? Monet's Water Lilies - the triptych that was installed at the MoMa 3yrs ago. Beside [to me] the blown away beauty of the thing -- it would take me as many years as it took to paint to notice every detail of the panels. Seeing the new installation was one of those times I just stopped at the entrance and had my breath taken away. On another level, it inspires me - to try something else, "waste" paint, look at my surroundings through new eyes, --- love it.
But would sneak in a Tahitian Gauguin if I could - maybe Siesta - - color - pattern - no repos do them justice
